Confronted with the huge amount of smartphones available on the market today, a customer can easily get confused when trying to find the product that will work best for him. Telenet wanted to channel the abundance of information and simplify the process.
This app will narrow down the entire range of smartphones to a small selection of products that speak to the customer. This will facilitate his decision, without distracting him with products that are less compatible with his preference.
The customer will run through an intuitive flow using this app. He will discover what 'kind' of user he is, by following different icons on a touch screen. He can enter his preferences in terms of telephony, music, photography, social networks, camera, wifi etc.
Based on this information, the app will suggest 3 different smartphones at the end, clearly indicating each product's specifications and price.
If the customer requires any additional info, or wishes to make a purchase, he can turn to the store's salesperson for help.
DOBIT, expert in touch technology, was an important partner during this project. They delivered the touch screens and installed the application in-store.
We developed this app in Flash and designed its interface with a strong focus on user-friendliness.
Telenet built a central database that is in 'live' connection with the app. All the information about the smartphones is derived directly from this database.
