With Drupal as a content management platform, Mobistar is taking on a powerful, reliable and stable environment, giving them a lot more flexibility.
Without having to depend on a third party, Mobistar can now quickly and easily add and remove products or promotions and do any textual alterations. Every change to the e-shop can now be done faster and more efficiently because Mobistar remains in full control of updates.
Drupal's backend is also very easy to manage, and offers a whole range of interesting functionalities they did not have before.
The new approach also has a huge impact on user experience. We made sure to design a clear and logical flow, from starting point to checkout. The entire shop is very user-friendly and is kept as simple as possible.
The user can compare products in one single view, and is able to easily configure products to his or her own preference. We also included small details that add tremendously to the shop's usability. A real time validation on form fields for example, or the possibility to hide certain parts of a form to give the user a better overview.
Drupal is open source software, maintained and developed by a community of hundreds of thousands of users and developers.
For this project, we used Ubercart, which is an e-commerce suite developed for Drupal. And then we custom developed it to tick all Mobistar's boxes.
We worked out a logical and clear flow, from starting point to checkout. Our main focus was to make the shop as user-friendly as we possibly could.
We also redesigned the entire shop.
