Event organizer ID&T picked Nascom to design and produce the new Tomorrowland website.
The site holds many fancy features like a video header with artist information upon request (click), artist pages with video and feedback forms, a picture and video gallery, an integrated Twitter feed and last but not least the line-up with the soon to be announced ‘My Line Up’ feature and Facebook integration. Pretty cool stuff!
Antwerp will be welcoming the yearly Tall Ships Races from 10th until 13th July 2010. It’s the first time the city will act as the port of departure for this prestigious event. Every year, numerous sailing ships from all over the world join the Tall Ships Races. The race is aimed at young people under 25, to get to know the world of sailing.
In 2010 the ‘Cathedrals of the sea’ will be Antwerp’s guests for the fifth time. The Port of Antwerp and the City of Antwerp are joining forces to turn this into an unforgettable event.

We just got back from beautiful Lisbon for the 3 day OFFF festival. Some of the world’s top artists were there, showcasing work ranging from digital art, web, print, interactive design, motion graphics to experimental music. This year’s festival theme was “fail gracefully”. Was funny to see every speaker sort of “force fit” this notion into their presentation: “… well that’s it for me… uh, oh yeah… failing is part of every designer’s process … blablabla”. I think as designers we all know a hefty chapter about failing. Failing gracefully? Is there such a thing?
